I spent some time with people on stalls chatting, either seeking answers to specific questions – like when the next supplement for Doctor Who might be expected from the folks at the Cubicle 7 stand – or more general chat. I had one such brief chat with Chris Cale at the Tied to a Kite…
I attended the Birmingham UK Games Expo at the weekend. Cubicle 7 had a stand, so I invariably needed to go ask the big question. So, “What’s happening with the Doctor Who game? When can we expect the next supplement?” Okay, so that’s two questions – but, I can’t remember exactly what I asked. I’m…
Well, I’m off to the UK Games Expo in Birmingham this weekend, attending both Saturday and Sunday (which we did in 2008, but not 2009). Having the night there means the day can be more relaxed, providing more chances to play and the chance to get involved in stuff starting in the afternoon. I would…
Once I ran an emergency messageboard site, a back-up for the Starlightlines Employee Forum, which at the time had a tendency to crash unexpectedly. The Forum has been running for a good ten years now and charts the extend story of the passengers aboard the Starship Titanic and what happened to them after the Spontaneous…
Tarvuism, the fastest growing religion in the world (“It’s SO easy to join”) – and just the sort of thing that the Doctor would get sorted out in a moment, undermining the evil intent beneath the cult within the conspiracy, like some intergalactic star-hopping David Icke. Or something like that.

I’ve been thinking about connections, considering what might have caused certain events or points of focus. Is it possible, for example, that one of the tears in reality, like that in Amy’s childhood bedroom, also caused the sun to go nova causing the grand exodus of Earth seen in “The Beast Below”? Aside from the…
Ashes to Ashes closed the televised Hunt era – and the Quattro died. Viewers watched as the slow reveal unfurled on what had been happening all along, and the purpose – and perhaps identity – of Jim Keats became clear. I’d a nagging suspicion since Keats first appeared, and the visits to his office –…
I don’t see as much of it as I used to, but book clubs always used to advertise like relentless fiends. I couldn’t open a magazine without having something falling out offering me ‘5 books for £1’ or similar. The books wouldn’t be bad either. Then you’d read the small print, where the offer continued…
