Foot Ache

Having spent the last 10 days resting, I’m finally getting to the point where I feel the need to drive. Gotta drive, have to drive. Seriously. My foot shows signs of real improvement, but a dull twinge persists. Should I push it? Shouldn’t I? I don’t know. I suspect my ‘nurse’ would tell me to stop being stupid and just rest. I suspect she’s right?

How do people manage to handle creeping insanity with long term injuries? Do they begin to go ‘stir crazy’ as well, walls pressing inwards in fits of mild claustrophobia? I’m boggled at what it must be like to be bed-ridden in hospital…
